The VT3000E is a recorder and player for TS (Transport Stream) data conforming to the MPEG2-System standard. In addition to the basic functions for MPEG2-TS recording and playback, the VT3000E includes a function for browsing TS data using a Web browser. It also has an improved function for adding jitter to PCR, which is essential for STB and other evaluations. The VT3000E can be used in a wide range of playback applications in developing, designing, and producing equipment related to digital broadcasting, as well as in evaluating digital content once created.

- Speed and Stability:
In addition to hard drive output and memory output, the VT3000E has a quick output mode. This mode enables stable playback of a selected stream over an extended period of time without any delay.

- REC& PLAY:
Streams can be directly recorded through the DVB parallel port. Add-on output channels (sold separately) let you record and play streams simultaneously.

- TS browsing function added: Browse TS data over your network using a Web browser
The VT3000E includes a TS browsing function as a standard feature. This function allows you to use a Web browser on your network to browse the contents of TS files recorded and saved on the VT3000E.

- Improved jitter adding functions:
These functions can be used to add jitter to PCR in three different patterns-pulse, burst, or random. In scramble mode, jitter can be added to PCR, PTS, and DTS.

- Improved PCR jitter adding functions: Select pulse, burst, or random

- Quick output mode: Instantaneous, stable TS output

- Seamless playback: Helps prevent audio and video from falling out of synch during repeated playback

- Recording function: Direct recording and playback of MPEG2-TS

- A variety of external interfaces: Ethernet and Ultra-Wide SCSI ports and CD-ROM
