YIG Oscillators
Giga-tronics YIG oscillators exhibit low noise performance covering wide operating bands in the 2 to 18 GHz range. While we continue to offer YIG oscillators in the industry standard Wideband MicroCube™ product covering 2 to 18 GHz, we are also offering our new Low Profile YIG oscillators (LPO series) covering 2 to 10 GHz. For those interested in smaller, more compact oscillators that are a "cut above" in electrical performance, this is the product that should interest you.
An option within the Low Profile Series of oscillators is Fast tune YIG oscillators (FTO series) featuring very low main and FM coil inductance and resistance. This feature provides significant decrease in tuning time over standard YIG oscillators currently on the market.
